Congratulations to Corinne Henderson

Mental Health Coordinating Council is pleased to share that Corinne Henderson, Director, Policy & Systems Reform at MHCC, has been appointed to the NSW Ageing & Disability Commission’s Advisory Board.

The NSW Ageing and Disability Commission works to better protect older people and adults with disability from abuse, neglect and exploitation.

The role of the Ageing and Disability Advisory Board is to advise the Commissioner on issues relating to abuse, neglect and exploitation of older people and adults with disability, and improve the lives and outcomes of older people, adults with disability, their families and informal carers.

Members of the Board include the Commissioner and people appointed by the Commissioner who have knowledge and experience in relevant matters, and also reflect the diversity of the community.

Corinne’s significant experience and wealth of knowledge will undeniably provide an invaluable contribution to the Board, bringing the interests of people living with mental health and psychosocial disability to future discussions.
