COVID-Safe Training

Mental Health Coordinating Council takes COVID safety seriously.

We are now delivering face-to-face training with arrangements to minimise the spread of COVID-19.

MHCC requires all training participants to be fully vaccinated and please take note of the current requirements put in place to ensure the safety of all staff, educators and students attending any of our training.

Please do not attend any training if:

  • you develop cold or flu-like symptoms
  • you have been in contact with a known COVID-19 case and have been advised to isolate
  • you have had a COVID-19 test and are required to isolate

If you have symptoms or have been identified as a close contact of a COVID-19 case, please get tested.

When you attend training, check in to the venue using the QR Code / Service NSW app or sign-in form provided.

Please take note of current rules regarding wearing face masks. NSW Health and MHCC recommend using a face mask when physical distancing is not possible or where indoor ventilation is poor.

For some venues, you may need to bring your own water bottle and reusable coffee cup (if you have one). Cups, coffee, tea, morning tea and lunch will still be provided. Please check your confirmation email for information relating to your workshop.

Where possible, MHCC and our training venues will provide:
• Hand sanitiser
• Disinfectant wipes
• Disposable face masks

Please note, we may need to ask COVID screening questions prior to your attendance.

Do not attend training if you answer yes to any of these questions:

  1. Do you have any symptoms of COVID (e.g. runny nose, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath, cough, loss of taste or smell)?
  2. Have you been told by NSW Health that you have returned a positive PCR test for COVID-19 in the past 7 days?
  3. Have you taken a rapid antigen test for COVID-19 and had a positive result in the past 7 days?
  4. Do you live with (or have close contact with) someone who has had a positive test result for COVID-19 in the last 7 days and you are experiencing symptoms?

If you have any questions or concerns about COVID Safety at any of the workshops and venues, please contact us for further information.

We thank you for keeping our communities safe from COVID.
