PHN CMO Working Group

Enhancing collaboration between Primary Health Networks and the sector

Primary Health Networks (PHNs) around Australia provide funding to community-managed organisations (CMOs) for the delivery of a range of health and community services including mental health supports in the community.

Identifying a need for open communication and to explore opportunities and challenges together to deliver the best possible outcome for the community, NSW/ACT PHNs and CMOs formed a working group and conducted an initial workshop in May 2023 to provide a discussion platform to address issues pertinent to the sector.

The group meets quarterly to drive progress on key issues with regular communiques released to keep the sector informed.
