We acknowledge that any delay can be frustrating. MHCC values your participation and is committed to meeting the expectations of our students and the sector. Accredited courses will be recommencing again in early 2024 and we commit to continuing to support students in gaining qualifications that assist them in their employment. You can also refer your employer to these FAQs.
We are committed to maintaining our high standards and have employed additional resources to ensure we continue to offer new courses in 2024 to meet the needs of the mental health sector.
MHCC will continue to deliver the CHC43515 Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work and CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health as standard 12-month courses. However, no new Fast Track courses will be offered in the foreseeable future.
MHCC pioneered the Fast Track option of our Certificate IV courses in response to workforce needs at the time. As the mental health and peer work sectors continue to develop, we want to ensure our courses meet the needs of the workforce whilst also ensuring quality duration and learning of the course material.
If you are interested in applying for a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work scholarship place funded by the Mental Health Commission of NSW for one of our 2024 courses, please refer to the eligibility criteria here. If you meet the eligibility, you can send your Expression of Interest to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line ‘Mental Health Commission Scholarship’.
